The LSI then paddled his boat for four days, until he reached the area of Barangay Lemery in Calatrava town late Friday night, where he was intercepted by the PCG personnel. The disease can spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which are spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales. The 59-year-old Oliver Oberes was intercepted in the town of Calatrava in Negros Occidental after four days of paddling his small boat.
